Job DescriptionResponsibilities
We are actively seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC) with interest in psychological interventions and experience with clinical trials. The CRC I will participate in a NIMH-funded, multisite clinical trial focused on improving safety and stability for youth who present to the hospital or outpatient clinic with suicide risk.

Responsibilities include participant recruitment (including collaborating with clinic coordinators to identify and contact eligible families), consent/assent with participants, survey administration with participating youth and families, tracking assessment completion, management of participant incentives, data entry, case management, therapist support and problem solving, site coordination, participation in report and manuscript preparation and other activities to support the success of the research study and the dissemination of research study results.
Under the direction of the Principal Investigators ( and, the CRC helps to ensure that research projects are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional/departmental guidelines, and standards of Good Clinical Practice.
The CRC I will coordinate efforts among local clinic sites, which are located at Building CURE and Magnuson. This position will be expected to work occasional evenings (e.g., 11am-7pm 1 to 2 days per week) and/or some weekend mornings (1 week a month; total hours a week not to exceed 40 hours).
The position is a great fit for those interested in the development of psychological intervention packages, clinical trials, and clinical child psychology. Opportunities for scholarly writing (e.g., collaborations on presentations and publications with site investigators) are available if of interest.
Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in research or a related field/setting.
Preferred:
- Pediatric research experience.
- Experience with REDCap and Excel.- Experience with case management or prevention/intervention work with families.

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
