Job Description: |
Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operator to work in Argyle, MN. From: 04/20/2024 to 12/31/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day. Should additional hours be offered, all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay, per Minnesota law.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Drives/operates farm machinery, plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, harvest, store grain crops of corn, wheat, canola, soybeans and sugar beets. Attach farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tows harvesting equipment drives/operates self-propelled combine to harvest crops. Performs duties like lubricating, repairing farm machinery and transports produce to elevator or storage area. Will assist with livestock maintenance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (3) months experience required. Able to lift items weighing up to 60 lbs. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (class D) within two (2) months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record. No high school diploma/GED required.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
