Academic Program Assessment and Review leads university academic
assessment activities across campus and champions the ongoing effort to
build a campus-wide culture of assessment. This position also manages
the academic program review process and supports Higher Learning
Commission accreditation efforts. This is your next opportunity to join

Duties and Responsibilities 1. Coordinate all aspects of campus academic
assessment including efforts associated with institutional learning
outcomes, the Marquette Core Curriculum, curricular and co-curricular
programs. 2. Assist with planning, designing, implementing, analyzing,
reporting, and disseminating assessment efforts for undergraduate,
graduate, and professional programs in collaboration with faculty and
staff. 3. Manage the academic program review process, including
training, coordination, and follow-up. 4. Support institutional
accreditation efforts (Higher Learning Commission) as assigned. 5.
Develop, plan, and execute regular assessment training for campus
stakeholders. 6. Chair the University Assessment Committee. 7. Prepare
periodic written assessment reports documenting results and quality
improvements. 8. Oversee graduate assistant for assessment. Responsible
for graduate student and student employee budgets. 9. Partner with the
Office of Institutional Research on the design and interpretation of
campus-wide surveys and support for the university strategic plan and

QUALIFICATIONS: Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Master\'s
degree in a relevant field, such as education, social sciences, or
statistics. A minimum of 3 years of assessment experience at a
university level. Demonstrated expertise assessing student learning
outcomes. Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research
methodologies; assessment and evaluation theories and practices.
Experience with institutional program review processes. Excellent
interpersonal skills, multi-tasking abilities, and the ability to deal
with diverse constituencies. Demonstrated attention to detail,
professional attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent listening, decision-making and consensus-building skills.
Effective academic administrative skills and a commitment to diversity,
gender equity, and the Ignatian principles that guide Jesuit education.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Doctoral or advanced degree in
a relevant field, such as education, social sciences, or statistics.
Supervisory experience. Interest in and understanding of Ignatian
pedagogy. Previous oversight of university-level assessment initiatives.
Previous oversight of accreditation and program review processes. Active
participation in regional/national organizations related to assessment.
A record of innovative programming and creative problem solving.
