Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Salary: £11.56 per hour
Location: Park Vet Group, Glenfield
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time
Hours: 16 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Saturday: 13:00-19:00 Sunday 8:00-19:00. Bank holidays on a rota.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist with Park Vets in Leicestershire.
We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in customer service, be a quick learner, and a team player willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Welcoming and registering new customers.
Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold-standard care
Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
Taking payments
Promoting offers and services
Remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor’s behaviour.
Experience required:
A minimum of 12 months’ experience dealing with customers in a customer facing role.
Reception or Client Care experience
Cash handling and till operation
IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
Knowledge of client-based computer system and using a multiple line software-based telephone system
English and Maths GCSE and good general education
Any form of client care/ Veterinary receptionist qualification
