53224, USA Req #859 Friday, April 26, 2024 Job Summary Under the
direction of the Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director, the Sales
Specialist is responsible for working with existing and prospective
customers to provide sales support combined with account and specific
product set knowledge ownership. Emphasis will be placed on processes
and systems to enable effective and efficient sales and customer
support. Based in office or remotely the individual will collaborate
with field-based sales team to grow sales and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions Build and maintain customer relationships to
leverage time of field-based Area Sales Managers (ASM) Partners with the
Area Sales Manager and sales management to increase sales by supporting
the outside staff for a specific region or account base Respond to all
internal & external communications within four business hours Properly
route customer inquiries to correct outside sales resource Respond to
questions on pricing and availability Handle inbound corp sales leads
and follow up accordingly Monitors order fulfillment and communicates
order status to customers and sales as required Provides customers with
accurate and delivery information based on information available in JDE
Participates or leads in complex product cross-referencing and quoting
on behalf of outside sales Leads in collecting and maintaining customer
sales, opportunity data, and strategic planning and reviews Specific
assigned account responsible for maintenance, service, projects, and
revenue growth Become a product expert in at least 1 category Supports
or leads sales and marketing promotional activities and projects
Opportunity to potentially participate in outside sales activity
periodically throughout the year Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree is
preferred, however, In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and
experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
may also be considered. 2-4 years work experience in a related role and
industry or equivalent Customer-first mentality and focus. Organized
with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively. Ability to
work well under pressure in a team atmosphere. Ability to prioritize
work from several customers, sales managers, or executive individuals.
