The Department of Family & Community Medicine has played a leading role in fellow, resident, and medical student education since 1974 and continues to focus on improving the health of members of our Cincinnati community and beyond, with a special focus on medically underserved patients. With faculty expertise in areas such as primary care research, palliative care, geriatrics, global health and integrative medicine, the department is advancing the college's commitment to cultivating learning environments, fostering research and scholarship, and providing innovative patient care.

The Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati, housed within the Department of Family & Community Medicine, Division of Integrative Medicine, is searching for an experienced and energetic mid-level wellness program manager. With direct supervision from the Osher Center Director, the wellness program manager will lead and assist with the development, day-to-day management and program evaluation of community wellness programs for the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati. Candidate must have excellent organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to manage large programs, projects and interact comfortably with a variety of stakeholder audiences - including within the community. This position will be responsible for program management, constituent communication, community outreach as well as some program data collection, entry, analyses and outcomes report writing. The position may also oversee related medical student wellness research projects and community volunteers. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, enjoy working with diverse teams, uphold a commitment to health equity and diversity, and be flexible and innovative. Essential Functions


Under supervision from the Center Director, provide community wellness program development and support for the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of Cincinnati.
Coordinating in-person and virtual community educational events, including scheduling and organizing with presenters (e.g., faculty, clinical providers), managing event registration, corresponding and working with event sites/coordinators, managing Zoom webinars, and assisting with marketing strategies.
Develop procedures, oversee and implement programs and Center initiatives including workplace mindfulness, culinary medicine, community and virtual educational programs.
Ensure timeliness and integrity of projects and compliance with standard operating procedures and university regulations.
Write and administer outcomes surveys electronically through software such as Survey Monkey, REDcap, and/or Microsoft Forms. Create outcomes reports for clients and/or grants based on data collected and analyzed.
May serve on various university, division and departmental committees, attend meetings and events.
May coordinate work of students and volunteers associated with wellness programs.

Required Education


Bachelor's Degree.
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience


Three (3) years of relevant experience

Additional Qualifications Considered


Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Forms, and some experience or willingness to learn to use reference software such as Zotero, RefWorks or Endnote and management software such as Canva, Kajabi, and Pipedrive.
Relevant experience in a program management position in an academic setting in public health, nursing, medicine, allied health or similar is ideal.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
