Job Description: |
At Rudolph Community and Care, we proudly embrace the term Crisis Interventionist due to the specialized nature of our work and the individuals we serve. As a Direct Support Professional (Crisis Interventionist), you will provide hands-on, person-centered support to individuals with varying degrees of mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. Additionally, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop and hone the skills necessary to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care to person-served - Monitors and maintains safety and health of individuals - Interacts with individuals receiving services - Administers medication - Maintains home and needs of client by cooking, cleaning, etc. - De-escalate interfering behavior - Participates in activities and social experiences within the community with individuals - Shares behavioral, health, and program concerns -with supervisor - Support personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing and toileting
