DaVita is seeking a Dialysis Experienced Patient Care Tech, CCHT or Certified Who is looking to give life in a home/skilled healthcare facility. Some details about this position:

5K bonus available

Dialysis Experience is required - smaller clinic and we cant train.
Potential to float to various clinics during and after your onboarding
You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work 6:30 am to close (6pm) generally.

What you can expect:

Smaller Clinic, up to 6 stations.
Care for LT patients and rehab patients who are just discharged from the hospital.
Work along side an experienced a Nurse to provide care inside our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Build meaningful and long term relationships with patients and their family in an intimate setting.
Be a part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment. Staff RN and PCTs are a central part of a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatments.
PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats and machine set up.
You will work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment.

Some details about this position:

Current Certification and Dialysis experience is required.

Potential to float to various facilities

You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, generally 6:30am start time until the patient care is completed, some evenings and every other Saturday is required.

What you can expect:

Direct Patient Care. Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.

Our PCTs care for multiple patients.

Technician Duties. To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.

Building long-term relationships with your patients who are suffering from end stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times/week. You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
Team. Cross functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of a RN.

Requirements:

Dialysis experience and certification

High school diploma or equivalent

Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes! Our work ends when it's safe for our patients.

PCT/Dialysis experience a plus including: Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT)
