About MVRCS 

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School in Malden, MA was founded in 1998. The school serves over 1,600 students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Job Summary: 

Mystic Valley Athletics seeks an experienced Varsity Boys Lacrosse Head Coach for the 2024 Spring season. A strong candidate would bring high school level/college level playing or coaching experience, leadership and communication skills, and a positive and energetic attitude daily.

Responsibilities: 

• Plan and schedule a regular practice program
• Develop workout and training regiments, oversee program development
• Manage travel logistics – works with AD
• Equipment / Uniform Inventories
• Support and adhere to School Policies 
• Perform additional coaching duties as necessary
• Score Reports – Postgame using direct link

Requirements: 

• Available for early game day departures
• Must take NFHS Concussion Certification Course (within year 1)
• Must become CPR / First Aid Certified (within year 1)
• Understanding of Mystic Valley’s Mission & Philosophy in support to student-athlete success

Preferences: 

• Past playing experience (college / high school)
• Coaching experience at the high school or higher level

The position will be evaluated yearly and will be an annual appointment.
