TITLE: OAC Case Management Pilot Program Director SUPERVISOR: Assistant Exec. Dir. POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Case Managers Position Summary: Oversee the operations of the Case Management Program & its staff. Responsible for overseeing subcontractor deliverables as applicable. Responsible & accountable for ensuring achievement & excellence in the administration & delivery of program services. The Program Director is responsible for thoroughly understanding R.A.I.N. policies & procedures, CFPA Community Funding Project-Administration on Aging Performance Standards & other pertinent regulatory standards & contractual requirements. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring contractual & service delivery compliance accordingly. This position requires a leader w/a strong program management & admin. background & knowledge of the community demographics & characteristics. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide supervision, training, & direction to support staff responsibilities & the interpretation of regulations, policies, & operational procedures. Review operations to ensure a high-level quality & compliance that is consistent w/both organizational & regulatory standards. Anticipate program needs & establish priorities & courses of action to meet program objectives. Oversee &/or handle the ordering of Supplemental purchases. Ensure adherence to supplemental policies & procedures. Oversee &/or conduct outreach to target population. Ensure case supervision & reviews for interventions, home visit observations & quality assurance practices of documentation & quality of service delivery & data collection. Oversee program budget & expenses to ensure compliance w/budget & line-item purposes. Adhere to all Finance related protocols & deadlines. Interface w/Finance dept. to ensure continuous communication regarding finance related matters. Development &/or updating of a Case Management Operations binder to ensure staff continuity across all areas of service. Interview staff candidates & provide orientation based on Standards & program operations. Aid in the development of positive team relationships/relationship building. Support cultural diversity by ensuring that the delivery of quality, equitable & culturally competent, client-centered services are provided Engage in continuous communication w/program officers & approp. staff of funders. Prepare for & facilitate program assessments & other regulatory agency protocols. Develop corrective action plan as nec. to address assessment citations or areas in need of improvement. Monitor corrective actions to ensure remediation of citations. Coordinate programs emergency preparedness response w/OACs & or other City agencies as applicable. Prepare & submit monthly reports to Assoc. Exec. Dir./Exec. Dir. Conduct outreach strategies to engage target population & establish linkages w/community service providers to support client needs & support. Attend community planning board & community police precinct meetings. Represent R.A.I.N. & aging services on external committees & groups. Attend occasional meetings or events during evenings or weekends as requested by Exec. Dir. or CEO. Min. Qualifications: The case management program director must meet or exceed the following qualifications: - Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) - Three years of full-time exp. in social services or related field - Two years of supervisory exp. - Exp. working in the field of aging - Proven leadership experience - Crisis-management skills - Ability to develop & maintain effective working relationships w/other staff, volunteers & clients. - Ability to communicate effectively w/other team members, governmental & community agencies & clients w/diverse opinions, values & cultures. - Competency in data collection & analysis preferred.
