OVERVIEW:
The Community Response Team (CRT) is a crisis intervention program that
serves Douglas County and provides an emergency response to individuals
experiencing a mental health and/or substance use disorder crisis in the
community. The Community Response Team clinician operates as a Co-Responder
team member with law enforcement, riding 40 - hours/week with an assigned
law enforcement partner in a police vehicle. This is a crisis position,
working alongside law enforcement and a resource specialist providing
emergency response to individuals experiencing a mental health and/or
substance use disorder crisis in community or school settings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
Must be licensed or pending licensure with supervision (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
At least 2 year of treatment experience in a mental health setting.
Must have crisis experience.
Experience with military and/or law enforcement is a plus.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:
Must be licensed or supervised pending licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
