Job Description

 
Principal, Infrastructure, CPPIB America, Inc., New York, NY:

Research, analyze and execute on direct infrastructure investments. Lead the full investment process, including origination, opportunity assessment, preparation and presentation of investment recommendations and negotiation of key deal terms. Collaborate with other investment departments across the Fund to deliver investments and manage the portfolio. Manage assets and develop value creation plans by analyzing board materials and collaborating with management teams regarding requests for information and initiative status. Communicate with external stakeholders, such as banks and potential investment partners, to share investment priorities and provide initiative status as appropriate.

Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day a week.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $259,600.00 - $350,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field, and 8 years of related work experience; OR Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field, and 6 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in preparation and review of detailed infrastructure company financial models.

Must have 5 years of experience in:

• Development of value creation plans;
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including portfolio companies, co-shareholders, banks, advisers and management teams; and
• Leading Investment Committee discussions on transactions and strategic matters impacting investments;
• Financial modeling, PivotTables, and advanced technical analysis using Excel.

Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day a week.

International travel required up to 10%; Domestic travel required up to 15%.
