We have an opportunity for a Director of Sales Operations to join our Pentair Pool Sales team. You will be responsible for leading the Business Analytics and the Salesforce/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) teams. The position reports directly to the Group Sales Leader for the Pool Business Unit and will work cross-functionally to enable profitable growth through data analytics, digital processes, and sales enablement. The focus of this critical position is to support and drive growth within the Pool Business Unit while increasing our overall efficiency and effectiveness.
** You can work a hybrid work schedule for this role, with 3 days/week in-office in either Golden Valley, MN or Apex, NC. **
You will:
Lead the data analytics team in developing end-to-end data solutions, from gathering requirements from business stakeholders to building solutions and partnering with end-users to ensure successful implementation.
Lead the Salesforce Digital enablement team to maximize the effectiveness of our field sales and support team to enable profitable growth.
Drive execution of data-driven insights and recommendations to the business with primary focus on Sales, Marketing (Dealer & Channel), and Product Management.
Partner with sales leaders to manage the lead development process and sales funnel to understand customer behaviors and sales performance.
Partner strategically with the Pool business unit teams to execute program launches, commercialization and sales plans.
Develop and own Pool yearly pricing and Early Buy strategy (i.e.: ecommerce, Trade Grade).
Lead the organization's efforts to create an advanced analytics layer of our data environment to make data standardized and easily accessible for driving business growth.
Travel up to 30% to meet with distributors, end-users, sales team members, and/or manufacturing site and functional leadership teams.
Key Qualifications:
Have earned a bachelor's (B.S. or B.A) degree.
Have 15+ years of experience in a similar business/functional role.
Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms and to transition between high-level concepts and low-level details.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business problems to data-driven solutions.
Experience designing and developing business-facing dashboards, and data visualizations on BI platforms such as Power BI.
Ability to scope and develop reports to enable self-service data reporting.
Intellectually curious, results-oriented, and collaborative partner to functional business leaders.
Experience in leading Salesforce implementation and field deployment with SAP integration experience a significant plus.
