Shipping/Receiving- Brooklyn Park MN
BGC and DT are Required.
Shift-1st Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
Wage: $21.00- $24.00 DOE
Job Purpose:
Perform shipping and receiving tasks including paperwork and computer transactions; perform material handling using forklifts.
Essential Functions:
Safety-Work safely and follow all applicable safety rules including wearing personal protective equipment as required
Shipping-Generate Pick List; Pull product from inventory; package product for shipment; build crates or special packaging; prepare shipping paperwork and enter computer transactions; arrange and schedule shipments and containers; load and unload trucks; provide domestic and international freight quotes in a timely manner. Demonstrate a sense of urgency by prepackaging items prior to due dates when possible. Ensure all required paperwork is available for our international shipping requirements, including our audited shipping document files.
Receiving-Receive incoming material; enter receipt into computer; check material for damage and proper counts; put materials away.
Inventory-Maintain proper inventory counts and locations; enter computer inventory transactions; restock production lines; perform cycle counting.
ERP System-Enter accurate transactional data to ensure the integrity of the data in the ERP system.
Physical Requirements-Ability to stand for long periods of time; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
