Description

Shinda is looking for an Occupancy Coordinator to maintain all occupancy-related activities for the properties.

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

  •  
  • Schedule and conduct interviews of potential applicants
  • Send appointment letter to the Site Manager (when applicable)
  • Consistently and accurately update all records
  • Review applications and income eligibility
  • Review HUD 50059/LIHTC applications
  • Send all pre-qualified applications with a move-in memo and a copy of the initial interview appointment letter to the Site Manager
  • Send appropriate letters to applicants, including approval letters, waiting list letters, and rejection letters.
  • Filing
  • Recordkeeping
  • Ensure timely and proper applicant information is stored
  • Run and analyze background checks
  • Prepare waiting list placement letters
  • Prepare files for move in
  • Review files for move in (when applicable)
  • Demonstrate effective communication when needed to update vacancy reports accurately

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

 
Position Requirements

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or Equivalent vocational/technical training, preferred
  • At least two years of administrative experience
  • Experience in affordable and/or public housing, specifically maintaining compliance of LIHTC program.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and internet usage

COVID Vaccination Policy
