Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Journalism, English, Communication, Education or art-related preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in training/technical or creative writing/instructional design
- Basic knowledge of HTLM5, SCORM 2004, SCORM 1.2, TIN CAN and AICC formats
- Use of e-learning authoring tools: Articulate 360 - Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate or other
- Use of video editing software: Camtasia, Adobe - Premiere and After Effects
- Use of design editing software: Adobe - InDesign and Illustrator
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communication or Education
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced communication and editing skills, both written and verbal
- Superior command of the English language including rules and usage; AP Style preferred
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills
- Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (subject matter experts, project managers) to develop content, training materials and manuals
- Proven ability to create creative, unique and relevant content
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with aggressive deadlines
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
