Posting Summary | The School of Public Health invites applications for multiple open rank tenure/tenure track and clinical faculty positions in our 4 departments: Biostatistics and Epidemiology; Environmental and Occupational Health and Justice; Health Behavior, Society, and Policy; and Urban-Global Public Health. The successful applicants will be expected to develop and sustain an extramurally funded research program, contribute to the teaching mission, and mentor MPH and doctoral students, and actively engage with the communities we serve, directed by the following mission: To advance health and well being and prevent disease throughout New Jersey, the United States, and the world, by preparing students as public health leaders, scholars, and practitioners; conducting public health research and scholarship; engaging collaboratively with communities and populations; and actively advocating for policies, programs, and services through the lens of equity and social justice. The Departments are recruiting in the broad areas of aging/gerontology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, cancer epidemiology, health disparities, environmental health sciences, infectious disease, maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, global health, public health nutrition, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, population mental health, behavioral economics, health services research, palliative/end of life care, and health policy. |

Minimum Education and Experience | Successful applicants will have a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) and a demonstrated record of scholarship as appropriate to their faculty rank. A record of successful extramural funding as an independent researcher is requisite for tenure/tenure track lines. For clinical faculty, record of extramural funding as an independent researcher or research collaborator is essential. |

Overview | Appointments will be made in the appropriate department within the School of Public Health. The Rutgers School of Public Health has locations in Newark, and New Brunswick and an emerging program in Camden, as well as both robust online and global programming including with partners China, Greece, Italy, and Tanzania. The successful applicants will find a wide range of experts within the School of Public Health (sph.rutgers.edu), Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS; rbhs.rutgers.edu), and the University at large.
