NY 1497479 Culinary Chef G.S. Steamers Bar and Grill is looking for a full time Culinary Chef. The Culinary Chef is responsible for the overall smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen, while maintaining high culinary standards, creativity, and quality. Responsibilities Include - He or she recruits, trains, and manages the kitchen staff in their daily activities and motivates the staff to strive for culinary excellence. - In addition, the Culinary Chef manages the inventory of supplies, equipment, food purchasing, receiving, and budgets and maintains safe and sanitary conditions for quality food production and service. - Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times - Stay current on all emergency procedures and acts accordingly - Wear proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the standards of appearance - Attend department meetings - Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook.
