Overview: We are seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to join our dynamic product organization, providing leadership and support to a team of cross-portfolio Project Managers. This role requires a blend of exceptional project management expertise, strong leadership capabilities, executive presence, healthcare experience, and technical acumen. Experience and interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, guiding teams, and driving successful outcomes within a product-focused environment.

Description and Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight: Collaborate with Project Managers to oversee multiple projects across various portfolios, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans, identifying opportunities for process improvements, resource optimization, and risk mitigation across projects.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, teams, and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Support: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to a team of cross-portfolio Project Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, methodologies, and best practices.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate resource allocation, including staffing needs, skill assessments, and training requirements to optimize team performance and project delivery.
Technical Expertise: Leverage technical knowledge, particularly in artificial intelligence, to provide insights, guidance, and support on AI-related projects and initiatives.
Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.
Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track project progress, providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders and leadership.

To qualify for this role you must have:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
12 years of experience in project management, preferably within a product-focused environment.
Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a focus on quality and results.
Technical proficiency in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related fields; familiarity with AI project workflows is a plus.
Ability to travel 25%, primarily to CMM's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$122,000 - $203,300
