Diagnose, treat, and provide inpatient and general internal medicine care for hospitalized adult patients. Examine patients by using medical instruments and equipment. Take the history of patients. Order and execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patients' conditions. Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations. Administer or prescribe treatments and drugs. Manage and coordinate patient care throughout treatment.
Must possess or be eligible to possess a valid state license to practice medicine in Michigan and have completed three years of residency training in internal or family medicine. Must be Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited residency training in internal or family medicine. Medical degree or foreign equivalent required.
