Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. - NIOSH - Cincinnati, Ohio
Minimum Experience: 2 years of commercial/industrial lawncare/landscape
Certification: Commercial Applicators License (preferred)
Pay: $27.49/hour plus fringe benefit of $14.30/hr. ($8.80 H&W/$5.50 401(k) contribution)
Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday

Job Description
Maintains facility grounds, repairs structures and maintains equipment.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Cut grass, using walking-type or riding mowers.
Trim hedges and edge around walks, flower beds, driveways, wells, etc. using hedge trimmers, clippers, chain saws, and edging tools.
Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools.
Spray lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer or insecticide.
Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs.
Water lawns and shrubs during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler systems.
Pick up and cart away leaves, paper, or other litter.
Removes snow from walks, driveways, roads, or parking lots using shovels, snow blower or truck plow.
Spreads salt or equivalent on walkways, driveways, and parking lots.
Repairs and paint fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings.
Assists in repair of roads, walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment.
Cleans comfort stations, workshop areas, parking lots, etc. of all debris by sweeping, washing, mopping, polishing, etc.
Maintain written and electronic records, document actions and present written progress reports.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Must be able to climb ladders (step, extension, straight, etc.) up to 40 ft.
Must be able to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs. for 20 ft if required.
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel as needed.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to, gloves, harnesses, respirators, hardhats, protective clothing, etc., if required.

Requirements:
Possess a valid driver's license
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years experience with commercial-type lawn care equipment
Commercial Applicators License, preferable
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and subsequent random drug screening
Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs.
Must be able to use ladders (step, extension, straight, etc.)
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, etc. for planting, working on equipment, snow removal, etc.
