Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in commodity management, agreement facilitation, supplier development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
  • 4 years of experience in developing relationships, collaboration, and project/program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field.
  • Experience with procurement, agreement management, or vendor operations.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace tools.
  • Ability to be comfortable with spreadsheet data maintenance and reporting.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to be detail oriented and process driven.
  • Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to maintain good relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

About the job

YouTube Global Vendor Operations (GVO) organization oversees scaled vendor support for YouTube Content Moderation, YouTube Creators, and Paid Products like NFL Sunday Ticket. The Risk, Compliance and Governance (RCG) team is the center of excellence responsible for maintaining structure and excellence across the YouTube Scaled Vendor supplier base. This includes vendor adherence to requirements including Vendor Contract Terms, Tools Access Programs, Wellness programming, Outsourcing Solutions and designing and managing vendor governance solutions that enable the GVO teams to measure Vendor Compliance across the supplier base for our scaled outsourced operations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$182,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive results for the strategy, design, and management of governance frameworks for scaled vendor operations.
  • Structure and communicate complex and ambiguous business issues, and articulate in a digestible fashion to a broader business audience.
  • Work with cross-functional partners and make recommendations to YouTube Leads to build consensus and drive towards execution.
  • Act as a subject-matter specialist for internal business consulting projects, focusing on a variety of organizational, operational, and strategic initiatives.
  • Bring problem solving and operational excellence to YouTube Global Scaled operations helping teams understand the highest priority opportunities for the business.
