Required Skills

Position Description: Operate the Dryers in a safe and responsible manner while following the Dryer Deck Operator SOP.

Position Responsibilities:


Ability to use hand control operated overhead conveyor system.
Fast-paced movement of dryer baskets require up to 30 baskets/hour per deck
Inspect the food for possible contaminants
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Employee must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP's related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities.
Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Skill & Experience:


Must be able to repeatedly climb, push and pull extensively over the shift on a fast-paced production environment.
Communication skills
Ability to work in the presence of chemicals (e.g., chlorine and concealed ammonia)
Maintain regular and acceptable attendance.

Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. (Notification required due to the
Americans with Disabilities Act).

Able to work in a cold environment (34-35 degrees on Plant floor).

Work Hour Requirement:


Ability to work overtime including weekends as required.

Education requirement:


High School or Equivalent
