Climax Molybdenum is the world's leading producer of molybdenum and has a

socially responsible manner. We have operated in Colorado for more than 100
years and today have mining and milling operations near Leadville, Kremmling
and Empire. Our Climax mine is located between Frisco and Leadville. Our
Henderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by the
Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles is
underground). The Henderson mine is about 50 miles west of Denver and 10
miles west of Empire, and the mill is located between Dillon and Kremmling.
Description:
Performs duties related to the operation of haul trucks to transport materials
from loading areas to processing areas.
- Responsible for performing inspections to maximize equipment and tire life
and executes assignments from computerized dispatch system and/or two-way
radio
- Receives training, mentoring, and feedback from other operators,
supervisors, and equipment trainers
- Responsible for understanding changes to assigned work areas and any
potential hazards
- Responsible for knowing the following procedures: start-up and
shut-down, fueling, fire, runaway, emergency, and accident
- Responsible for having knowledge of payload measurement system, over
speed alarm, dispatch codes, shovel and truck horn signals, secondary
