Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Technician is responsible for installing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and related equipment in a timely high-quality manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)

Installs new HVAC units in commercial or industrial buildings.
Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC systems.
Removes old or existing HVAC Units
Provides customer with information related to proper operation of system.
Provides customer with information as it pertains to the job.
Maintain company vehicle according to company policies.
Ensures all required paperwork is in order.
Complies with company and industry safety standards.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and troubleshooting equipment.
Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.
Ability to follow instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPEIRENCE

Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required.
Two years’ related experience required.
