JOB REQUIREMENTS: County Materials Corporationis a leading manufacturer
and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape
products. For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build
the communities where Americans live, work and play. We are seeking a
Machine Operator in our Landscape & Masonry Divisionfor our customer,
County Materials in Marathon City, WI. Military service members and
veterans are encouraged to apply. Machine Operators manufacture
landscape and masonry products for inventory and specific jobs. Job
Duties Setup and operate the block machine. Setup and operate the
batching equipment. Oversee the packaging of the product. Ensure
machines are kept clean and well-maintained at all times. Maintain and
practice safety procedures and policies. Maintain a production schedule.
Produce high-quality products while maintaining efficiency and
consistency. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and
housekeeping. Maintain a daily maintenance log. Work Environment Work
indoors Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include
electrical hazards. Work in a noisy environment Physical Requirements
Carrying/Lifting 10-40 pounds frequently Carrying/Lifting 40+ pounds
occasionally Standing/Walking/Climbing
Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending Pushing/Pulling/Reaching Above
Shoulder Experience & Qualifications Strong mechanical background
Ability to identify and utilize basic hand and power tools Good math
skills - must be able to use a tape measure Strong attention to quality
and detail Ability to identify and react to a quickly changing
environment Strong understanding of production processes and the
importance of efficiency Strong desire and willingness to learn and be
trained Strong communication skills Leadership characteristics Strong
work ethic Previous forklift operation desired but not required Central
