We’re currently hiring production assembly workers for a local Chaska company. The ideal candidate for this production assembly position must have mechanical skills and be comfortable with all types of hand and power tools. Location: Chaska, MN Wage: $18 - $21/hr. Duties of the production assembly worker: Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine size and type of material needed Configure items for proper fitment Bolt, glue, screw, or otherwise fastens parts together Fabricate according to specifications, drawings and/or verbal direction Operate machines that are needed to perform production work of assembling parts Test fitment of parts before modifying pieces and parts Measure, cut, and fasten plumbing materials such as: PVC pipe, stainless steel pipe, copper pipe or other galvanized materials Fasten and secure customized production material onto custom frames Test equipment to ensure proper functionality Assist with preparing systems and loose equipment to go out for shipment Requirements of the production assembly worker: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Measure quickly and accurately to 1/16th of an inch Read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints Experience and confidence with hand and power tools Additional information Apply today!
