You Are:
The Cyber Public Safety Portfolio Lead will collaborate w/ P&L and Growth Platform leads to assist in development and execution of the AFS Cyber vision and associated strategic implementation.
The Work:
- Work effectively with Cyber Operations Lead who focuses on business operations (recruiting, staffing, talent development, etc.)
- Drive and maintain a new business pipeline in partnership with account teams and business development directors that supports growth objectives
- Maintain an understanding in security trends, platforms, and emerging offerings spanning all mediums (mobile, desktop, cloud, network, and infrastructure)
- Effectively lead operations for the capability across a Federal Public Safety portfolio and provide leadership that supports AFS’s ambitions to be the number one cybersecurity firm for security professionals
- Assist with brand development (i.e. work w/ LLP and AFS marketing on our digital, conference, and special event presence).
Here’s What You Need:
- Bachelors Degree or 10 years of industry experience
- Leadership experience in Cyber or Cyber related field
- Experience in change management with C-Suite and Senior Executives
- Federal experience – building clients and offerings, leading pursuits, closing deals, driving entrepreneurism
- Expertise in one or more of the following: federal cybersecurity initiatives, guidelines and/or policies
- Experience in core cybersecurity frameworks
Bonus Points If:
- Advanced Degree
- 15+ years of industry experience
- Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
- Experience leading offensive and defensive Cyber practices is recommended
- Exceptional in conceptualizing, architecting, and articulating security solutions for the world’s largest and most complex environments
- Exceptional skill and experience leading and architecting solutions to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs
- Proven ability to influence at the practice and firm level
- Committed to building and maintaining a consistent compliance program
- Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
- Excellent people management and relationship development skills
