Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 
We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team and play a key role in building solar power plants. You’ll be responsible for installing, assembling, and testing electrical wiring and equipment to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently. If you have experience in commercial construction and are ready for hands-on, rewarding work, this could be a great fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Pull and terminate conductors to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with code.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as megohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
• Install ground leads and connect power cabling.
• Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
