<b>Job Description Summary</b>
<br>
<br>Responsible for sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment and facilities. Develops and maintains plant sanitation programs and procedures. Collaborates with engineers, suppliers, contractors and plant partners to ensure a clean and sterile facility. Assures compliance<br>with regulatory agencies in regard to sanitation requirements and the use of cleaning and exterminating agents. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team oriented work force in order to improve business results.<br>

<b>Job Description</b>
<br>
<br>&bull; Plan, organize, execute, train, and monitor plant sanitation crew, processes, and methods<br>&bull; Plan and execute daily, weekly, and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation activity<br>Develop and maintains the plant Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS), the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) per USDA regulations, the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP), and Environmental Swabbing Program<br>&bull; Work with management for constant improvement of sanitation processes<br>&bull; Conduct periodic plant inspections and audits, tracking progress of corrective actions<br>&bull; Responsible for reporting any food safety issues to supervision<br>

<b>Basic & Preferred Qualifications</b>
<br>
<br>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred</li>
<li>Complete understanding of Food Safety Guidelines/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe practices andprocedures</li>
<li>Complete understanding of HACCP Plans</li>
<li>Understanding of government regulations (FDA, USDA)</li>
<li>Understanding of Clean In Place (CIP) and Clean Out Place (COP) systems</li>
<li>&bull;Familiar with Fundamentals of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to read, write and speak fluent English</li>
<li>Large organization/corporate experience</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and manage tasks</li>
<li>Proficient computer skills</li>
<li>Ability to read measurements</li>
<li>Microbial knowledge is recommended</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years related experience</li></ul>
