JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: This appointment will be in the 2025-2026
PET/Molecular Imaging Fellowship Program receiving advanced training in
PET-CT/Molecular Imaging for diagnosis and treatment monitoring. There
is the possibility that this position could be extended for one
additional year. The School of Medicine and Public Health has a deep and
profound commitment to diversity both as an end in itself but also as a
valuable means for eliminating health disparities. Responsibilities:
This position will always function as a trainee for advanced PET CT/PET
MR. In the first six months of the fellowship, the position will
function as a trainee when they participate in reading sessions in PET
imaging and being involved in molecular imaging. The training includes
research time in PET and molecular imaging. In the second six months of
the fellowship, optional independent clinical activity may include
general clinical PET examinations using routine radiopharmaceuticals,
dependent upon achieving proficiency in reading these studies as
obtained during the first six month training period. The position will
always function as a trainee when they are developing an academic career
in molecular imaging, learning about research methodology, and
investigating the new molecular imaging agents such as sodium fluoride
or fluorothymidine. An additional, and optional, component of this
appointment outside of the fellowship is providing independent clinical
services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by
the Department Chair. Work may be carried out at the University of
Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Unitypoint Health-Meriter Hospital
and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended
coverage areas as necessary. The position will often supervise and teach
