Job Description

 
Operation of machines in manufacturing plant - corrugated paper sheets being made into finished goods on a specific production line, ensuring an efficient operation in achieving business targets. Performance and quality standards meet the requirements of the customer. Achieve high standards, having a culture of working safely. *Efficient operation and safety of machine and report issues of performance and procedure to production supervisor. *Adherence to production schedule and operate at available capacity including OT as needed. *Properly read work order, print card, product structure for task at hand. *Monitor and ensure all quality procedures are followed, and quality standards are achieved/exceeded. *Proactively meet housekeeping standards and maintenance of equipment. *Set-up machine accurately in accordance with established processes. *Follow Standard Operating Procedures. *Ensure products are properly stacked for unitizing and/or palletizing. *Implementation and adherence to LEAN/5S. *Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data, Shift Report. *Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated. *Ensure achievement of production against stated capacity targets. *Manage work order closures and stock control transaction. *Monitor changeover and/or machine set up efficiency.
