Job Description: |
Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work at locations in Stearns, Chippewa, Swift and Pope Counties in Minnesota. From: 05/01/2024 to 10/27/2024 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon.- Fri. 9 hrs./day. Sat.5 hrs./day, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As required in Minnesota, all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year.

JOB DUTIES: Participate in the scouting, grading of our production fields and report any issues to the Field & Pest Supervisor. Perform minor repairs on farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Operate tractors and tractor-drawn machinery to plant, cultivate, spray, and load agricultural products on to trucks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum three (3) months experience. Regular Class D driver's license. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. No minimum education required.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
