Volt is immediately hiring for a <b>Lab Tech III</b> in <b>Maplewood, MN</b> with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will be supporting the product engineering department of the global medical solutions laboratory.<br> <br>
<b>This is a first shift position.</b>
<br> <br>
<b>As a Lab Tech III you will:</b>
<br> <ul> <li>Learn, execute, and report results for testing associated with design verification, product investigations, test method develop / validation, special projects, etc.</li> <li>Record results in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (or as prescribed), reporting results to stakeholders, and analyzing the results as requested.</li> <li>Work with multiple product engineers on a diverse set of commercialized products</li> <li>Gain experience with a wide range of testing, including mechanical, thermal, physical, chemical, or electronical testing to maintain medical devices, drug products, etc<b>.</b></li> </ul>This is a <b>full time</b> contingent opportunity.<br> <br>Estimated Duration 24+ months.<br> <br>
<b>The ideal candidate will have:</b>
<br> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.</li> </ul>
<b> Preferred Skills:</b>
<br> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Strong communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) and systems proficiency</li> <li>One year of testing experience in a private, public, government or military environment</li> <li>Product, manufacturing, quality systems, or general documentation experience in the medical device and/or drug products [i.e., FDA 21 CFR 820, FDA 21 CFR 210/211, ISO 13485]</li> </ul>
<b>Pay Rate: $28.00-29.00 hr.</b>
