Responsibilities/Job Duties: (describe duties, equipment used, physical demands, and working conditions) Description:The role of a Plant Maintenance technician is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities. The main missions of the role are to: ▪ Install, repair and maintain all equipment ▪ Maintain Facilities equipment as required ▪ Analyse mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections to maintain maximum production and quality ▪ Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facilities and processes for efficiency ▪ Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance / completion of PM’s ▪ Continuously improving knowledge base ▪ Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy ▪ Adheres to all work rules and procedures ▪ Adheres to the Code of Ethics ▪ Adheres to the Code of Management Additional reponsibilities include: ▪ Actively particpate in work teams ▪ Implement at least six improvement idea per month ▪ Other duties as requested Job Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications: ▪ Technical dipolima and/or journey man card or 5 years minimum experience ▪ Adjustment of robot programs as required / Training provided ▪ Perform tasks of substantial variety/complexity ▪ Strong Electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skill set ▪ Hydraulic and Pneumatic troubelshooting required ▪ Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental systems ▪ Strong technical problem solving skills ▪ Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills ▪ Satisfactory company work record, including attendance ▪ Successful completion of Faurecia’s in-house training programs ▪ Ability to follow instruction verbal and written - good math, language and reading skills required ▪ Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels ▪ Forklift/Sissor/Boom cerfication – successful completion of Franklin certification trainings ▪ Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive manner ▪ Valid drivers’ license Physical Requirements:▪ Job involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, exerts 25 to 100 pounds of force occasionally to move objects ▪ Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping and bending ▪ High mental and visual effort required ▪ Able and willing to work overtime as required.
