Responsibilities
Lead large-scale practice transformation and agility efforts spanning the now, near, and future through innovation, digital transformation and commercialization.
Drive the vision, strategy and roadmap and execution for the innovation portfolio with an eye toward the future and scale. Serve as a catalyst & collaborator across Mayo Clinic strategies to ensure a well-crafted innovation/practice transformation strategy that will lay the foundation for future investments in care delivery, talent, data management, and patient experience. Provide overall operational insight and strategic direction to leadership and associated teams. Support and foster Mayo Clinic Bold.Forward strategy by connecting and cascading critical strategy and direction. Develop, refine and create new services to empower the practice and service patients.
Lead a portfolio of innovation and business development initiatives, working across multiple teams within a matrixed organization to support clinical innovation, commercialization and industry collaboration efforts with a focus on digital transformation.
Leverage futuristic thinking to see trends and opportunities, analyze pros/cons and potential applicability to Mayo Clinic to foster innovation and scalability across practices. Drive and foster the innovation roadmap, practice transformation, and new product/partner pipeline.
Qualifications
Master's degree in business, health care administration or related field required. Five years healthcare management or related industry experience to include people, projects or programs required. Operational experience must include demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment with physician, scientist, educator, administrative, supervisory, and allied health staff. Must have demonstrated leadership competencies management (e.g. staff, change, complex issues) and operations. Excellent communication skills required. Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) a plus.
