Job Description:
The Registrar's Office at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University invite applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit eligible position of Registration and Scheduling Coordinator.

The Registration and Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the collection and maintenance of all registration data for College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University undergraduate and graduate programs, including course registration data for both institutions for three academic terms (Fall, Spring and Summer). The primary functions of this position also include assignment of all academic classroom spaces, coordination of study abroad registrations, and management of many other special course registrations which include internships and individual learning projects.

Responsibilities
Class Schedule Oversight

Work with faculty department chairs, Academic Affairs and the Registrar to develop, build, publish and process changes for the master class schedule for each academic term.
Provide software support for the class scheduling software (CLSS) while verifying information provided by chairpersons and program directors, handling questions from chairs, processing all corrections and assembling the schedule for publication.
Enter and maintain all course prerequisites, course restrictions, fees and details that relate to the online registration system.
Train department chairs, program coordinators, and department coordinators on procedures and methods to manage departmental course planning in CLSS.
Manage room assignments for courses offered at CSB and SJU, including troubleshooting room conflicts, teaching conflicts, and space management issues. This responsibility includes scheduling all courses into appropriate classroom spaces and accommodating specific needs of the faculty and students, as possible. This requires the use of classroom scheduling software and updating the Banner student information system.
Create and publish the final and common exam schedules.
Maintain faculty access and assignments in the student information system, including updating course assignments each semester.
Create study abroad class schedules for both our institutional and direct enroll programs. This involves adding courses with the appropriate general education designations, registration and grading.
Process all registrations for Individualized Learning Projects (ILPs) and internships, including ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines.
General Office Duties
Manage room assignments for meetings and other one-time events that occur in academic classroom spaces during regular class meeting times.
Assist with major projects related to office operations at various times of the academic year, as job duties allow/require. This may include working on holidays and other office or institutional events such as end of term processing during the winter break, or Commencement.
Assist with updates to the course inventory for all CSB and SJU courses, both current and historic, in the student database. This includes maintaining title, credit value, grading type, FTE, common curriculum designations, valid terms, repeatability, etc.
Assist with database maintenance for all General Education Curriculum course attributes as approved by faculty committees. This includes understanding the general education requirements and the complex tracking of these requirements.
