Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting the medical staff. Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling billing tasks
- Educate patients on medication usage, diet, exercise, and other healthcare instructions - Assist with coding and filing medical records accurately
- Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
