The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State seeks a temporary Program Administrator Coordinator to administer the duties and services for the Safe at Home program, Minnesota’s address confidentiality program. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Administering absentee voting for all Safe at Home registered absentee voters
Reviewing program enrollment applications
Support mailroom administration functions
This position is temporary and is expected to last until the end of the year.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires the submission of a cover letter explaining why the applicant desires this position and whether the applicant knows any past or present Safe at Home participants. If you are aware of any Safe at Home participants, please indicate their names in your cover letter.
Knowledge of foundational privacy and data practices.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Experience utilizing English (speaking, writing, and reading) to: (1) communicate effectively to staff, external customers, and public audiences; (2) prepare written directions and responses; (3) comprehend complex written text.
Excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to conduct business with people from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of victim services.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree.
Experience with victim services programs.
Experience with or knowledge of public affairs/state government practices and processes.
Experience with or knowledge of address confidentiality programs.
Professional experience maintaining confidential or private data according to state law.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to transport up to 70 pounds.
