Job Summary: |
Required:
* Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university AND 1-3 years related experience & /or training; OR equivalent combination of education & experience
* Computer skills, adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail & use scheduling software
* Maintains punctual, regular & predictable attendance
* Works in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
* Excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion & negotiation skills required in working with external partners & coworkers
Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration & implementation of self-hosted applications & for promptly responding to & resolving end user issues with these applications. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, documenting & managing system issues from notification to resolution. This position is responsible for managing system enhancements & workflows while understanding user needs, system constraints, as well as system & user impact.
Essential Duties:
1. Creates, optimizes & oversees existing & new application functionality with deep comprehension of end-to-end business processes & system impacts on end users & reporting
2. Assesses impacts on backend processes, understands the implications for future state & ensures data integrity throughout support activities
3. Provides ongoing assistance for self-hosted applications, including troubleshooting problems & resolving issues; collaborates with internal & external partners & organizations to answer business & research questions
4. Diagnoses & responds to internal & external support service calls & emails in a timely manner
Duties Include:
* Leads & manages multiple tasks & projects
* Establishes & maintains user environments, interfaces & processes
* Collaborates with contractors, vendor representatives & internal department team members to identify opportunities to improve end user experience & increase data capture
* Researches system capabilities & functionality & applies strategic perspectives to find opportunities for system enhancements & process improvements
* Conducts rout cause analysis & implements preventive measures for recurring problems
* Reviews current & new processes to ensure that data is collected accurately & updates software applications
* Maintains precise written documentation
* Works with internal & external teams on projects; acts as a consultant to assist & understand system requirements & data needs
* Executes minor database updates for end users where applicable
* Demonstrates extensive & diverse knowledge of health care data, processes, metrics, systems & standards
* Maintains confidentiality & complies with HIPAA rules & regulations
