Requisition Summary
The Tax Department of PACCAR is searching for a Tax Administrative Specialist to perform administrative duties to support the Tax team. The chosen candidatewill have basic accounting skills, an ability to prioritize tasks, and a strong attention to detail. The administrative support component will also consist of answering phones, filing, calendar updates, and data input. This role is located in Bellevue, WA and reports to the Tax Director.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
Basic tax return preparation and filings to include monthly, quarterly, and annual state reports, Sales/Use tax returns, property tax returns, and other non-income tax returns
Prepare and maintain account reconciliations
Research and resolve tax account balance issues with various tax agencies
Provide administrative and accounting support for the Tax Department to include: handling phones, typing, mail, filing, tax due date calendar updates, and data input
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Proficient PC skills to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and 10 key.
Excellent proofreading, grammatical and written communication skills.
Accounting skills with attention to detail and maintaining accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities while meeting non-negotiable deadlines

Two plus years work experience, preferably in a tax or accounting environment
Associate degree or actively enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree programstrongly preferred.
