Job Description

 
The Town of Southampton is seeking a Full Time Groundskeeper I for our Parks Department located in Hampton Bays, NY. A person in this position performs a variety of grounds maintenance work. Work may include but not be limited to cultivate, prune, spray and trim trees and shrubbery, cut grass and weeds using hand tools and lawn mowers, trim hedges and rake leaves, checks working condition of equipment, preforms routine service and maintenance. May occasionally operate light motor vehicles such as automobiles and small trucks. Remove snow, salt and sand driveways and sidewalks and perform custodial tasks during winter months. $21.65/hr plus full benefits package.
