Job Description: |
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Bird Island, MN. From: 03/09/2024 to 12/1/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week; Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Duties: Drive and operating farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest corn, soybean and sugar beets. Attach farm implements, and tow harvesting equipment. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions on crops. General lubrication, service (check fluids) to farm machinery. Load and unload crops. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
