Amentum, a large government contract company is seeking a Project Analyst Lead to support an aviation related program in the Pax River, MD area.

Responsibilities

Analyzes project requirements in the areas of business management, financial management, program scheduling, milestone tracking, critical path analyses, and support requirements, and performs other related analyst/management activities required for successful completion of required tasks. Assists with impact studies, cost/benefit analyses, dependency models, and project tracking methodologies to ensure the success and efficiency of assigned projects. Provides support for critical operations related to Comptroller Functions, Acquisition, Navy ERP training and implementation, and Navy ERP role mapping. Demonstrated experience in cost/benefit analysis, quality control, successful completion of critical path events, and project tracking.

  • Oversee various projects from inception to completion. 
  • Responsible for planning and tracking project cost, schedule, and performance throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction while operating under APSD's quality management system. 
  • Multi-task multiple projects with varying complexities and size while ensuring mission success for all tasking.
  • Work with all disciplines during project cost and workload estimating ensuring adequate resources are planned for each task.
  • Create simple and/or complex project schedule while evaluating all project constraints and their impacts to mission success.
  • Track spending & recoveries on specific charge numbers and analyze for cost discrepancies.
  • Identify project risk and implement solutions to limit and/or eliminate adverse project results.  Follow APSD risk mitigation processes.
  • Compile and track requirements change in accordance with APSD change process.
  • Maintain and keep project data up to date for adhoc data calls.
  • Provide project status reports in accordance with the APSD processes.
  • Attend weekly meetings for APSD projects, document minutes, track open actions and design changes.
  • Create divisional and branch reports.


Education

BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, or Technical Discipline.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years experience in performing the stated functions.  Specialized Experience:  Must be proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft SharePoint.

Other

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
