Education Requirements and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D) is required.
Licensed as an Assisted Living Director (LALD).
Experience in elder health, home healthcare, assisted living, or nursing homes.
Knowledge, background and experience related to MN billing for EW, CADI, GRH housing programs. Post-secondary coursework in property management, business, real estate or equivalent experience preferred. Three years leasing or property management experience preferred. Additional Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of fair housing and applicable compliance regulations.
Knowledge of government housing subsidy programs.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic word processing and spreadsheet knowledge (Microsoft word, Excel).
Detailed oriented and accuracy with numbers.
Self-motivated.
Proficient office skills to include organizational abilities.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively managing multiple projects or tasks.
Exemplary time management skills.
Willingness to learn.

Job Description:
The Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) is responsible for managing the daily operations of the site in order to provide a fiscally sound, well-maintained and socially healthy housing community. The Licensed Assisted Living Director also provides leadership and guidance to all staff at his/her site coordinating activities of elder/resident care, marketing, food service, contracts, and maintenance.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides Administrative Tasks of Assisted Living Site:
Maintains and facilitates open lines of communication between all assisted living site staff.
Monitors timely completion of all documentation.
Organizes, develops and coordinates service plan reviews, as required by state codes, with appropriate elder care team members and elder families.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Oversees Supervision of Registered Nurse and Assisted Living Home Care services.
Ensures Compliance with applicable State, Federal and Local Laws. Oversees Comprehensive Maintenance.
Provides Supervision and Leadership to Assisted Living Staff who supervise elder care, marketing, food service and maintenance.
Assists with Development and Implementation of Annual Budget.
Develops and Maintains an Effective, professional relationship with elders, families and community.
Implements Comprehensive Marketing Strategy to Meet Occupancy Goals.
Supports and Nurtures the Professional Growth of Assisted Living Site Staff.
Oversees the Daily Operations of Red Cedar Assisted Living.
Professional Development.
Team Participation.
HIPPA
Travel in and out of the state if needed.
Understanding and sensitivity to Native American culture. All other related duties as assigned.
