Job Description

 
7 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 03/26/2024 - 11/12/2022. Performs and combination of the following manual duties involved in transplanting onions. Will stoop, pull weeds, rocks and dirt. Work requires standing and bending repetitively for approximately 8 hours a day. Some days may be longer depending on crop and weather conditions. Will clear brush from hedge rows with pitch forks. Clean on and around, harvesting equipment and buildings. Will drive tractors and trucks for planting, transplanting, cultivation and harvesting. Will sort onions and potatoes, unload trucks, handle empty 20 bushel boxes during harvest time. Repair boxes with hammer and nails. Due to health and safety requirements, applicants must be able to speak and understand basic English. Requirements: * Three months experience required. * Workers will have two days of training. * Exposure to extreme temperatures * Lifting requirement of 50 lbs. * Repetitive movements, extensive pushing/pulling, extensive walking/sitting and frequent stooping/bending * Basic English skills The full terms and conditions of the job (form ETA790a) should be reviewed and provided to qualified applicants from this website: seasonaljobs.dol.gov.
