Required Skills: | Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical or Vocational training, or an equivalent amount of work experience in a related field • Be able to work independently and together • Self-motivated to perform tasks with little or no direction • Problem solving ability with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude. • Basic welding skills a plus • Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings a plus • Valid driver's license • Able to pass a drug, alcohol, and cannabis test • Reliable form of transportation |

Job Description: |
Northern Dewatering, the Midwest’s premier Dewatering and Bypass contractor was founded in 1984. Bolstered by a strong belief in integrity and customer service, John McShane has built Northern Dewatering into one of the largest multi-faceted dewatering and bypass pumping companies in the Midwest and beyond. Northern Dewatering is seeking a self-motivated and high-energy individual to join our Electrical Technician team! This position will be based out of our Rogers, MN headquarters and is a fulltime non-exempt position.
Primary Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform maintenance, repair, and diagnosis on Northern Dewatering’s electrical submersible pumps and controls • Rebuilding pumps, servicing and maintaining electrical boxes and power distribution cables, replacing breakers, programing and set up of VFD controls. • Shipping and receiving • Inventory control • Quality checks on completed repairs and pressure testing pumps • Document in detail, work performed on repairs • Assist other mechanics • Maintain a clean and safe shop/working area • Some travel to job sites for service calls • Be able to diagnose and repair equipment quickly and efficiently
This position also has the potential for advancement into a supervisory role.
