| Job Description: |
Are you an experienced MIG / TIG welder seeking a new opportunity? Look no further! Our industry-leading metal fabrication company in Coon Rapids is currently hiring for the position of MIG / TIG / structural welder. If you have the skills and experience in welding stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum, along with the ability to read blueprints, we want to hear from you. Location: Coon Rapids, MN
Wage: $25 - $28/hr.
Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Duties of the MIG / TIG / Structural welder:
Perform MIG / TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum
Grind and dress welds appropriately
Read and interpret blueprints accurately
Utilize tape measures, squares, levels, and various measuring instruments.
Handle sheet metal, tube steel, channel, I-beam, and plate steel during fabrication.
Align and position components accurately, using fixtures as necessary.
Securely fasten parts together using bolts, clamps, and tack welding, following blueprint and welding procedure specifications
Requirements of the MIG / TIG / Structural welder:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the field or applicable schooling
AWS D1.1 Certification
Proficiency in shop math
Pass a drug test and background check
Steel-toed boots required
