Job Description:
Need 4 full-time, temporary, seasonal Farm workers/Laborers to work in Carver, MN.
From: 06/15/2024 - 11/12/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day
Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half.

JOB DUTIES: Plant, weed, pick, and clean produce/flowers. Wash, sort, and place produce in containers. Load on trucks, and transport to warehouse/market. Clean work areas and store materials. Operate tractor to cultivate fields. General maintenance of farm buildings, facilities, and grounds. Work at market as cashier, answer phones, stock, price, label, clean, and water (market is solely for produce grown by the employer.)
Crops: corn, tomatoes, beans, peppers, carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, zucchini, berries, radish.
Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions. The work day may begin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night, or weekend hours may be required. Workers may be requested, but not required, to work on Federal Holidays or their Sabbath.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience; able to lift 50 lbs.; valid driver's license; able to speak/understand English; no minimum education requirement. Work requires exposure to extreme temperatures and frequent stooping or bending over.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
