JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project, monitors progress and performance against the project plan, and takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. As representative of Avail, the Project Manager will act as the voice of our customers throughout the entire project.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages the overall delivery of a project.
  • Serves as the client contact throughout project progression. 
  • Presents project status to client and all parties involved in project execution.
  • Manages the project change process.
  • Understands and manages client expectations.
  • Escalates issues to appropriate stakeholders and updates client on issues as well as conflict resolutions.
  • Once the budget has been finalized in the pre-planning phase, the Project Manager is responsible for the oversight of billing/invoicing/budget throughout the project progression.
  • Identifies and resolves any billing/invoicing issues.
  • Monitors schedule while determining priorities with shared resources and other projects. 
  • Influence inter-departmental project progression to drive project to completion.
  • Escalates issues that impact timing or budget to management and works with staffing coordinator to obtain additional resources as needed during project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for post project completion documentation and execution such as warranty, field service and customer service. 
  • Identifies opportunities for follow-up work or new projects. 
  • Lead post-shipment lessons learned and continuous improvement discussions to improve quality, financial, and customer experience. 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management, required.
